Game, set and match!
Paying homage to the victories of its ambassador, Belinda Bencic, Caran d’Ache has dedicated an exceptional writing instrument exclusively to her: the Ecridor Match Point. In celebration of the young Swiss player’s entering the top 10 female tennis players in the world, the Geneva-based company highlights their common values which include the desire for excellence, authenticity and being Swiss made.
Inspired by the beauty and precision of a sporting gesture, the new ball-point pen joins the iconic Ecridor collection and crystallises the art of engraving. It pays homage to the all-important match point. In a single instant, this winning shot that seals victory encapsulates the entire idea of sporting excellence.
The Ecridor Match Point has a hexagonal body coated in meticulously polished palladium. The pen is covered in fine laser-engraving, producing a pattern reminiscent of a tennis net. Through the delicate interlacing, a tennis ball can be seen crowned with a laurel wreath. Symbolically, it reaches the other side of the net: “match point”! The push-button is decorated with an elegant yellow ball, shown in relief by means of pad printing and covered with a translucent resin. The very feel of it produces the exhilaration of a match point.
The 100% Swiss made ball-point pen is entirely designed and produced in Caran d’Ache’s Geneva workshops. It is equipped with the famous giant Goliath cartridge capable of writing non-stop for up to 600 pages of A4, a true reference in terms of quality and durability.
