True icons of Caran d’Ache, the 849™ ballpoint pens and mechanical pencils are once again celebrated in this 5th edition of Paul Smith + Caran d’Ache.
This time, the emblematic aluminium instrument takes on a bold new dimension. Available in two versions, a satiny black lacquered model and a silver model with a raw finish, these iconic instruments reveal pad-printed stripes in 8 exclusive colours.

Two-toned bicolour pencils for infinite combinations
The new Paul Smith collaboration also includes an assortment of bicolour pencils designed to create multiple shades, spanning warm and cool tones, dark and bright hues.
This set includes 12 water-soluble bicolour pencils for a total of 24 colours, that can be used for dry drawing or watercolour. Each pencil plays with contrast: mauve meets malachite green, cobalt blue is paired with green ochre, and Indian red contrasts with black. The assortment comes in a metal tin, ideal for artists on the go.
