Mix and paint on-the-go

Our portable Caran d'Ache watercolour palette is compact—a neat 26 x 13 cm and only 3mm thick. This means it easily fits in even the fullest of bags, making it perfect for use indoors and outdoors—basically, anywhere inspiration strikes!
Made from white plexiglass, our palette has a smooth and rough side, each suitable for different types of paints. It's also UV, alcohol, acetone, and abrasion-resistant and easy to clean with water.

Suitable for a variety of paint types

As we've mentioned, our palette is double-sided. This is because we wanted it to be usable for different types of paint. Think of it as the Swiss army knife of paint palettes! The rough side helps water-soluble paint cling and mix easily. The smooth side is ideal for all classic paints, including acrylics, watercolours, gouache, and oils.

Practise new techniques with our spray bottle

A water spray bottle is an excellent tool for watercolour artists, helping to create unique colour effects. Think effects like smooth transitions and blends, which are all achieved by lightly spraying water onto paper or paint. Using a spray bottle allows for subtle gradations, softens colour edges, and helps correct areas with precision. A particular advantage of a spray bottle is that it keeps paper consistently wet, which is much more challenging to do with a brush. This helps artists maintain higher levels of control over the dampness of their surfaces.
