Have you found the creative ritual that inspires you? Now, all you have to do is get started. Here are a few tips to help you develop your creative routine:
• Dedicate a space to your creative routine. This can help put you in the right frame of mind to be creative in this space. Go to this place every day, and decorate it with objects that inspire you.
• Practice your ritual at a fixed time. For example, create a 30-minute morning routine or devote 15 minutes to your creative routine in the evening before going to bed. In the morning, while you’re having your coffee, during your lunch break or in the evening, before a meditation session, set aside a specific hour for your routine so that you can make an appointment with yourself.
• Do a creative “warm-up”. Like a musician practicing scales, doing creativity exercises as soon as you wake up can prepare your mind to think in inspiring ways.
