Caran d’Ache is once again paying tribute to Asian culture with the creation of a Fine Writing instrument in the form of the fifth sign of the Chinese zodiac: the Dragon.

Celebrated once every 60 years, it is the Wood Dragon that takes pride of place in 2024. Brimming with enthusiasm and tireless energy, the Dragon is the embodiment of strength and success. Every aspect of its life is characterised by its creativity and imagination.

The body of this Limited Edition is an intense red colour, meticulously applied by our master lacquerer. From this scarlet backdrop emerges the dragon designed by Caran d’Ache’s ambassador, Jean-Philippe Kalonji. The fantastic creature and its scales are delicately engraved on several levels, adding relief to this exceptional piece.
